SYSTRA Canada’s Rolling Stock Department is one-to-one.
Whether for freight and mining vehicles (wagons, locomotives etc.), passenger ones (high-speed, intercity, regional/commuter, urban vehicles) or maintenance-of-way (“MoW”) equipment, our team offers the full range of expertise to assist our clients in addressing their purchasing needs.
Our team of engineers, technical experts and procurement managers also master all standards and norms used in the market place, whether from North America (Association of American Railroad -AAR), Europe (Association of American Railroad – AAR-), en Europe (Union Internationale des Chemins de fer - UIC/ Union des Industries Ferroviaires Européennes – UNIFE ) or else.
Our Procurement team will assist you in the early identification of rolling stock needs and the associated strategy to meet these needs (including a tailored asset management approach) all the way to testing, commissioning, delivery of the fleet and assistance during warranty period.
We also offer Technical Specification Development:
- Locomotives new and upgraded;
- Passenger cars new and upgraded;
- Freight cars new and upgraded.
